Maya D. has a diverse work experience. Maya began their career in 2014 as a Sales Associate at Catchpenny Resale Shoppe. In 2018, they began working as a Cashier at Peterson's Tasty Delights Bakery and as a Private Tutor at Varsity Tutors. In 2019, they were a Job Coach at BARRINGTON YOUTH & FAMILY SERVICES. In 2020, they were a Teaching Assistant at the University of Illinois Chicago, as well as a Research Assistant at the Laboratory for Product and Process Design. Currently, they are a Research Associate at QurAlis and a Cell Production Associate at Aurion Biotech.

Maya D. attended Barrington High School from 2013 to 2017. Maya then went on to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Illinois Chicago, with a specialization in Cell & Tissue Engineering, which they completed in 2021.
