Nick Cooper

Nick Cooper has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Nick is currently the Chief Information Officer at Aurizn, a position they assumed in July 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Consilium Technology where they held multiple roles, including Defence Business Unit Lead, Chief Information Officer, and Senior Software Engineer, from 2013 to July 2023. Before Consilium Technology, they worked at Daintree Systems as a Senior Software Engineer, where they led the development of various software components. Nick also gained experience as a Software Engineer at Saab Systems and Defence Science & Technology Organisation. In the early years of their career, they worked at Barclays Bank Plc, SchlumbergerSema, Abbey National Finance Investment Services (ANFIS), and Telstra, where they held various software development and technical roles.

Nick Cooper received a Bachelor of Computer and Information Science degree from the University of South Australia from 1995 to 1998. Nick majored in software and minored in business. Additionally, they obtained the Certified ScrumMaster® certification from Agile Scrum Alliance™ in September 2016 and the PRINCE2® Foundation certification from APMG International in 2013. Nick also holds a Sun Certified Java Developer certification from Sun Microsystems.
