Alaina Kring

Alaina Kring, CPhT, has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Alaina began their career in criminal investigation with the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation, where they served as a Special Agent-Criminal Investigator from 2007 to 2012. Alaina then transitioned to the retail sector and held various roles in loss prevention, starting as an Asset Protection Manager at Walgreens from 2012 to 2016. Alaina then worked as an Area Loss Prevention Manager at Ross Stores, Inc. from 2016 to 2018.

In 2018, Alaina joined Ulta Beauty as an Area Loss Prevention Manager before moving up to more senior positions. Alaina served as a Manager-Organized Retail Crime from 2019 to 2020, Lead Manager-Organized Retail Crime, West Division from 2020 to 2021, and finally as a Senior Manager-Organized Retail Crime from 2021 to 2021.

Following their time at Ulta Beauty, Alaina worked at Gabes as the Senior Director of Loss Prevention Field Operations and Investigations from 2021 to 2023. Currently, they are employed at Auror, where they have held two positions. Alaina started as a Retail Partnership Manager in April 2023 and then assumed the role of Director of Retail Partnerships in October 2023.

Alaina Kring, CPhT, holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice and Sociology from Lambuth University. In 2014, they obtained their certification as a Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) from PTCB. Additionally, they have received various certifications in interview and interrogation techniques, including Advanced Interview and Interrogation Course from Wicklander-Zulawski & Associates in 2012, Interview and Interrogation Training from John E. Reid and Associates in 2011, and Interview, Interrogation, and Statement Analysis Instructor from Peace Officer Standards and Training Commission (POST) in 2009.
