Catherine Dumur

Catherine Dumur, Ph.D., HCLD(ABB), is the Vice-President of Molecular Diagnostics and NGS Development at Sonic Healthcare USA and currently serves as the Director of Molecular Diagnostics and NGS Development at Aurora Diagnostics. With extensive experience as a Molecular Diagnostics Laboratory Director, they possess specialized skills in Gene Expression Microarrays, DNA Sequencing, and various molecular biology techniques. Dumur earned a PhD in Molecular Biology from Universidad Nacional de Córdoba, contributing to a strong foundation in the hospital and healthcare industry. They also held academic positions as a Professor of Pathology at VCU Health and have both an M.S. in Biological Chemistry and a commitment to mathematics and biology education.
