Our strategic priorities include School Success, Express Creativity, Feed Your Imagination, and Welcome to America. We’re dedicated to providing excellent customer service in a diverse urban area. Our 97,000-square foot main library which opened in 2015 includes a makerspace and a media production lab.  We also have two branches and a bookmobile. We serve six school districts in four counties, and our bookmobile provides library services to students in East Aurora School District 131.

The Library Services team at Aurora Public Library District is dedicated to delivering diverse and comprehensive library services across our main library, branches, and bookmobile. They focus on adult and children's services, bilingual assistance, circulation management, and outreach programming, including special support for school success and early literacy. This team ensures that both urban and school district communities have access to educational resources, creative spaces, and dynamic programming.

The Information and Technology Team at Aurora Public Library District ensures the seamless operation and maintenance of all tech-related services and equipment across the main library, branches, and bookmobile. They manage the makerspace and media production lab, support audiovisual needs, oversee IT infrastructure, and provide technology assistance to both staff and patrons, enhancing the overall library experience and contributing to the strategic priorities of the organization.
