Brad Shively is a seasoned technology and engineering professional with extensive experience in developer experience and operations management. Currently serving as the Director of Developer Experience at Aurora since September 2020, Brad previously held the position of Senior Engineering Manager for the Developer Platform. Prior to Aurora, Brad worked at Uber Advanced Technologies Group from January 2016 to September 2020 as an Engineering Manager focused on developer experience for the self-driving car project, where Brad also bootstrapped the software Build Team. Brad's earlier experience includes an Operations Manager role at Google from June 2013 to January 2016, where responsibilities involved integrating retail partners with Google data feed services, and a Technology Consultant position at Deloitte Consulting from July 2010 to May 2013, specializing in large software projects. Brad holds a Bachelor's degree in Information Science & Technology, Security & Risk Analysis from Penn State University and completed a Nanodegree in Intro to Self-Driving Cars from Udacity in 2019.
