Chris Murphy

Chris Murphy serves as a Staff Technical Lead Manager at Aurora since January 2021, focusing on quality and policy in the self-driving vehicle sector. Previously, Chris was the Manager of Quality and Safety at Uber, directing a 15-person team in autonomous transportation solutions. Chris has also held significant roles at Honeywell, Akers AB, Kennametal Inc., GKN Sinter Metals, and Murata Electronics, where expertise in quality management, process improvement, and technical leadership was demonstrated across various industries. Chris holds an M.B.A. in Entrepreneurship from Seton Hill University and a B.S. in Materials Science and Engineering from Penn State University.
