Ivan Allier

Ivan Allier is a seasoned engineering professional with a diverse background in safety engineering and systems application within the transportation and autonomous vehicle sectors. Currently serving as a Staff Safety Engineer in Safety Risk Management at Aurora since June 2021, Ivan is responsible for the development and management of the Safety Risk Management program, focusing on the autonomous vehicle industry. Prior experience includes key roles at IKOS GROUP where Ivan led a team of engineers for Bombardier Corporation, providing system-level support and managing complex system interfaces. Additional experience encompasses project coordination for the City of Edmonton, field engineering with Dragados Canada, and foundational roles in design and surveying. Ivan holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Alberta.
