Leonid Rapoport

Leonid (Leo) Rapoport is a seasoned hardware reliability engineer currently serving as a Staff Hardware Reliability Engineer at Aurora since October 2023. Prior experience includes working as an Ecosystem Reliability Engineer at Apple and holding various engineering roles at Cruise, Exponent, and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where Leo also earned a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering. Leo's career began in the Israel Defense Forces - Military Intelligence, followed by positions at Rafael Advanced Defense Systems and internships at Schlumberger. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, a Master of Science from the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology, and a Bachelor of Science from the same institution.
