Michael Slick

Michael Slick is an experienced professional in software and systems engineering, currently serving as Staff Safety Engineer and Staff TLM at Aurora since January 2021. Prior to this, Michael held the position of Software Safety Engineer at Uber from March 2020 to January 2021. Michael's career began at GSE Systems as a Systems Engineer, where responsibilities included developing and integrating computer models for nuclear power plant simulators from May 2009 to March 2020. Earlier roles included Design Engineer I at JLG Industries, focusing on 3D parts and assemblies for the Boom Lift Department, and a Process Engineer Co-op at ATK, where manufacturing processes for solid-fueled rocket motors were examined. Michael holds a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Penn State University.
