Nick Orsborn

Nick Orsborn is an experienced professional in the fields of autonomy technology and geology, currently serving as Senior Manager - Test Triage & Analysis at Aurora since September 2017. In this role, Nick manages a diverse team to enhance autonomy capability and product development through rigorous analysis and collaboration with various stakeholders. Previously, Nick held senior managerial positions focused on motion planning operations and mapping operations, as well as roles in vehicle operations training. Prior to joining Aurora, Nick worked at Uber Advanced Technologies Group, contributing to self-driving technology development, and held multiple geology-related positions at Burnett Oil Company Inc, Centrica Energy, and Sylvan Energy LLC, emphasizing natural gas exploration and project development. Nick holds a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Geology from the University of Pittsburgh and continues education at the University of Virginia.
