Tim Chung

Tim Chung is an accomplished security engineering leader with extensive experience in driving security initiatives within the technology and automotive sectors. Currently serving as Vice President of Security Engineering at Aurora since August 2020, Tim founded the security team and developed a comprehensive strategy incorporating Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA) principles for autonomous vehicles. Previous roles include Senior Director and Director of Security Engineering at Verily Life Sciences, where Tim oversaw the company's security strategy and compliance initiatives. Tim's career also includes significant positions at Google Fiber and Google, alongside early experience at Cisco and other tech companies. Tim holds a Bachelor of Arts and Sciences degree in Philosophy and Physiology from the University of California, Davis.
