Tom Ding

Tom Ding is a Senior Software Engineer at Aurora, having previously held software engineering roles at Walmart and PayPal. At PayPal, Tom led the migration of the WPS Shipping and Tax flow to a modern stack, implementing significant UI and backend changes that enabled 13% of all traffic and generated approximately $22 million in monthly revenue. Prior to that, Tom contributed to backend development at CareerLark, where database schema and RESTful architecture were designed and developed, along with a hybrid job scheduling service. Tom's experience spans various technologies, including PostgresSQL, NodeJS, and Google Cloud services.
