David Friedmann

David Friedmann is an experienced operations manager in the metals industry, currently serving as Operations Manager Precious Metals at Aurubis since May 2022. Prior to this role, David held the position of Operations Manager TSL & SBF at GLENCORE Nordenham from September 2019 to April 2022, and worked as an Operating Engineer Furnace at RECYLEX for a brief period in 2019. David's career began at IME Process Metallurgy and Metal Recycling, where responsibilities included serving as a Scientific Engineer and Doctoral Student from June 2014 to November 2018. Academic credentials include a Dr.-Ing. in Metallurgical Engineering from RWTH Aachen University, complemented by additional training in project and production management from VDI Wissensforum, and a Master of Science in Metallurgical Engineering from RWTH Aachen University.
