Helen Kim

Helen Kim is a Senior Process Engineer at Aurubis since January 2024, specializing in R&D New Technologies with a focus on Pyrometallurgy. Prior to this role, Helen held various positions at BHP from February 2018 to November 2023, including Production Metallurgist and Projects Metallurgist, where significant achievements included leading a copper scrap shredding initiative that boosted recycling rates and copper production, as well as implementing a monitoring program for Anode Furnace shell temperatures. Helen's earlier experience includes roles as Graduate Projects Metallurgist and Graduate Production Metallurgist, where contributions to operational performance and safety improvements were made. Additional involvement in organizations such as the Department for Energy and Mining in South Australia and Robogals Adelaide reflects strong leadership and advisory capabilities.
