Dan Cearnau

Dan Cearnau has over 10 years of work experience in the technology field. Dan began their career in 2011 as the Founder & Chief Technology Officer of Under Development Office, a full stack development company specializing in mobile solutions. In 2014, they took on the role of Mobile Development Director at NewTribeAgency Mobile, where they created solutions to engage the general audience in the activities of their clients. Also in 2014, they co-founded and served as the Chief Technology Officer of BrightLife, an innovative app created for the medical field in Eastern Europe. In 2016, they co-founded and served as the Chief Technology Officer of Acquainted.io. From 2017 to 2021, they co-founded and served as the Chief Technology Officer of Aurus - Tokenized Gold, a blockchain startup aiming to revolutionize the gold industry. In 2020, they took on the role of Technical Lead at Dime.ly, a privacy-first platform enabling the automatic collection of data from the user's daily digital behavior. Finally, in 2021, they became the Blockchain Lead - Mobile, Blockchain and Advanced Technologies Department at Zitec, having acquired Under Development Office.

Dan Cearnau has an extensive educational background. Dan attended "Tudor Vianu" National College of Computer Science from 2006 to 2010, where they earned a high school degree in Mathematics and Computer Science. Dan then went on to Universitatea Româno-Americă din București, where they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from 2010 to 2013 and a Master's Degree in Management Information Systems, General from 2014 to 2016. Finally, they completed a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Information Technology at Academia de Studii Economice din București from 2017 to 2021.
