Apurv Garg

Apurv Garg has diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Apurv is currently the Co-Founder and CEO of Aurva since November 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Data Science Lead and Creator/SMB Messaging at Meta from February 2019 to August 2022. Apurv also served as a Data Scientist at Meta from May 2018 to present.

Before joining Meta, Apurv worked as a Data Scientist at Moonfrog Labs from October 2016 to July 2017. Apurv was also a Co-Founder at SandLayers Labs Pvt. Ltd. from August 2015 to December 2016, where they developed hardware and software infrastructure for measurement of TRP Ratings and targeted advertising for TV viewing audiences.

In addition, Apurv gained experience as a Machine Learning Engineer at Affine in 2015 and as a Summer Analyst at the Government of India in 2014.

Apurv Garg has a Master of Science degree in Statistics from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Prior to that, they received a Bachelor of Technology degree in Computer and Information Sciences from PES University. Apurv completed their high school education at Delhi Public School - Bhilai. Additionally, Apurv obtained a certification in NCFM-Financial Module from NCFM Share Market Training Institute in September 2014.
