Wade Bootes

Wade Bootes is the Technical Director BMX for the Australian Cycling Team at AusCycling, where they lead national teams and oversee performance support for athletes. With a rich background as a professional cyclist across BMX, MTB, and track cycling, Wade has accumulated numerous championships, including being a UCI Mountain Bike Dual World Champion. Wade's coaching career includes serving as National BMX Head Coach and National Scholarship Coach at Cycling Australia and contributing to multiple Olympic Games. They hold a Graduate Certificate in Applied Science in Sports Coaching from The University of Queensland and are currently a member of the UCI BMX Commission.
