Benjamín Carrión is a senior coastal engineer and data scientist currently serving as the Coastal Engineering Lead for Latam at Ausenco since 2024. Previously, they worked at PRDW Consulting Port and Coastal Engineers from 2012 to 2016, where they managed small to medium specialized projects. Benjamín has also contributed to academia as a professor of Fluid Mechanics at Universidad de los Andes from 2020 to 2021. They hold a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from Technische Universiteit Delft and a degree in Civil Industrial Engineering with a focus on Hydraulic Engineering from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile.
