Michael Sweeney

Michael Sweeney, P.Eng has extensive work experience in the field of material handling, engineering, and project management. Michael is currently working at Ausenco, where they serve as the Global Lead for Material Handling, Ports, Transportation, and Logistics. Prior to this role, they worked as a Bulk Materials Handling Engineer at Ausenco.

Before joining Ausenco, Michael worked at Solaris MCI as a Project Engineer from 2014 to 2017. Michael'sprevious experience also includes working at Hatch, where they held various roles including Bulk Material Handling Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, and Undergraduate Mechanical Engineer.

Throughout their career, Michael has gained expertise in bulk materials handling, logistics, transportation, and project management.

Michael Sweeney, P.Eng obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Wollongong, completing their studies from 2005 to 2008.
