Alfred Freestone is a highly experienced engineer with over 24 years in the telecommunications and utilities sectors. Currently serving as an Engineer in Fibre Planning at Ausgrid since December 2010, Alfred develops comprehensive plans for the fibre optic network while ensuring compliance with the National Electricity Rules. Prior to this role, Alfred spent over 11 years at Telstra, progressing through various positions, including Network Design Manager, Senior Network Designer, Network Planner, Program Manager, and Estimator. Throughout the tenure at Telstra, responsibilities included managing teams, delivering network designs and projects on time and on budget, and providing technical support across a large geographical area in New South Wales.
