Andrew Brown

Andrew Brown is an experienced engineer specializing in network security at Ausgrid since December 2003, where responsibilities include conducting outage and loadflow assessments and providing technical assistance to the control room. Throughout various roles within Ausgrid, including a secondment in Technical Operations and Substation Engineering, Andrew has achieved significant improvements in processes and oversight of project management related to protection settings and embedded generation compliance. Earlier in Andrew's career, roles at UNSW Australia included Postdoctoral Fellow in photovoltaics and PhD student focusing on solar cells, complemented by a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering from the University of Wollongong and an MBA in Technology Management from La Trobe University.
