Chris Klafas

Chris Klafas is currently the Manager of Asset Modelling at Ausgrid, where they have led an asset modelling team for approximately eight and a half years. In this role, Chris develops and integrates statistical and financial models that provide insights for risk-based decision making, significantly impacting the company’s asset maintenance and capital work strategies, which total approximately $1.2 billion over five years. Over the past two years, Chris led a project recognized with an Excellence Award from the Asset Management Council for the industry-leading Consolidated Asset CBA Model. Chris holds multiple degrees, including a Master's in Engineering Management and an MBA from the University of Technology Sydney, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Engineering from the University of New South Wales.
