Col Smith

Col Smith is an accomplished security professional with extensive experience in personnel and corporate security, currently serving as the Personnel and Corporate Security Manager at Ausgrid since October 2019. Previously, Col Smith worked with the NSW Police Force from August 2002 to April 2020, gaining experience as a Trainer in the Operations Support Group, where responsibilities included training and development, leading operations in public order incidents, and coaching team members. Additionally, Col Smith served as a Senior Constable in the Public Order & Riot Squad and as a Constable handling general duties, demonstrating expertise in criminal investigations and first response operations. Col Smith holds a Diploma in Security and Risk Management and a Certificate IV in Security Risk Analysis and Training and Assessment from the Australian Security Academy and Workplace Training NSWPF.
