Nick Black

Nick Black has extensive experience in the energy sector, currently serving as the Head of EV Charging & Infrastructure Development at Ausgrid since March 2017, where previous roles included Head of EV Charging Development and Head of Commercial Development. In December 2023, Nick Black joined the Electric Vehicle Council as a Board Member. Prior to Ausgrid, Nick Black worked at Landis+Gyr as Solutions Director for Energy Services and Smart Grid in Asia Pacific from November 2015 to March 2017, and held various positions at Ausgrid from 2009 to 2015, including Manager of Operational and Communications Technology. Early career experience includes roles at Alcatel-Lucent as a Graduate Engineer and Newport Scientific in Research and Design/Build. Nick Black holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Telecommunications and a Bachelor of Business in Finance from the University of Technology Sydney.
