Simon Moore

Simon Moore is a seasoned policy advisor with extensive experience in the energy sector. Currently serving as a Senior Policy Advisor at Ausgrid since February 2024, Simon has held significant roles, including Member of the Board of Directors at Industry Capability Network - NSW and Senior Policy Manager for Infrastructure at Business NSW. Prior experience includes independent consulting with a focus on strategic energy policy analysis for clients in Australia and Canada, and policy development for Woodfibre LNG Limited, where Simon played a key role in regulatory approvals and policy responses. Simon's background also encompasses policy management at Citizens Advice and research fellowships at Policy Exchange and Stockholm Network, complemented by advanced degrees in Public Policy from the University of Maryland and a BA in Politics from Lancaster University.
