Simon Travers

Simon Travers is a Geoscientist currently working for the Department of Energy, Environment and Climate Action, focusing on geoscientific data management, procurement, and reporting. Simon has also held various roles in companies such as AusIMM, Centennial Mining, Leviathan Gold Ltd, ESG Environmental, Rio Tinto, and Coffey Services Australia, where Simon has contributed to geological input, field mapping, contracting, and project management. Simon's educational background includes a Bachelor of Environmental Science with Honours in Geosciences from Monash University.
