Gary Egan

Gary Egan is a Professor and Strategic Advisor at Monash University and serves as the Chairperson and Director of Ausmed Education Pty Ltd since 2022. They have been a Director at Ausmed since 2000 and held the position of Director at the Centre of Excellence for Integrative Brain Function from 2014 to 2024. Previously, Gary was a Research Group Leader at the Florey Neuroscience Institutes from 2001 to 2005, and a Professor and Deputy Director at the Centre for Neuroscience at the University of Melbourne from 2004 to 2010. Gary earned a Bachelor of Science with Honours in Physics and a PhD in Elementary Particle Physics from the University of Melbourne, as well as an MBA in Neuroscience from Monash University.
