Robert Jackson

Robert Jackson has extensive experience in strategic shipbuilding and defense sectors, currently serving as the Head of Capability, Head of Sales & Business Development, and Head of Sustainment at Austal since January 2016. Previously, Robert worked at the Defence Materiel Organisation (DMO) from February 2002 to January 2016, holding various engineering positions, including Generation Director and ASMD Engineering Manager, where responsibilities included managing significant engineering change programs and overseeing upgrades to combat systems for ANZAC class ships. Robert's academic qualifications include a Graduate Certificate in Business from Queensland University of Technology, a Master of Engineering from the University of New South Wales, and dual degrees in Business and Engineering from Edith Cowan University.
