Alex Hsia

Alex Hsia has a diverse work experience in various companies and roles. Alex currently holds the positions of Chief Operating Officer and Chief Metallurgist at Austin Elements Inc., starting in January 2023 and August 2022, respectively. Prior to this, they served as an Associate Professor at Central South University from January 2019 to August 2022. Alex also has experience as the Chief Executive Officer of Hunan Henglong NMT ltd. from March 2019 to July 2022. Additionally, they worked as a Research Associate at the University of Utah from May 2014 to January 2019 and as a Postdoctoral Researcher at The University of Queensland from October 2013 to March 2014.

Alex Hsia completed a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Materials Engineering from The University of Queensland between 2009 and 2013. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Metallurgical Engineering from Central South University, graduating between 2004 and 2008.
