Daniel Torres

Daniel Torres is a skilled professional with extensive experience in materials engineering and microbiology. Currently serving as a Materials Engineer and Microbiologist at Austin Elements Inc. since January 2023, Daniel contributes to microbiology projects involving green sulfuric acid production and gas conversions, operating a range of scientific equipment. As the founder of Torhino since June 2018, Daniel showcases entrepreneurial capabilities. Prior experience includes roles as a Research Specialist and Graduate Research Assistant at the Rice University Bioscience Research Collaborative, focusing on nanoparticle synthesis and resulting in two patent applications for DARPA projects.
