Thomas Anczykowski has an extensive aviation career spanning several decades. Beginning military service with the German Air Force from July 1983 to September 1984, Anczykowski transitioned to civilian aviation, starting with Lufthansa in April 1990, where roles included First Officer on various Boeing models and ultimately Captain on Airbus A330, A340, and A350 aircraft. From July 2001 to January 2007, Anczykowski served as Captain of the MD11F at Lufthansa Cargo. An ongoing role since January 2025 includes serving as a TRI/r for the A330 at Lufthansa Aviation Training Group. Additionally, from May 2020, Anczykowski has worked as an ICAO and EASA FCL.055 Language Proficiency Examiner at Austro Control, while also freelancing as a TRI/r / SFI for the A330 with Condor Flugdienst GmbH from August 2022 to March 2024.
