Jordan Coult has held a variety of roles in the past decade. From 2011 to 2021, they have worked as a Lead Pianist for Silver Spoon Thai Restaurant, a Substitute Pianist for Sky City at the Space Needle, a Window Cleaner for Hometown Windows, a Seasonal Road Maintenance Worker for Snohomish County Public Works Department, a Project Engineer Intern for VECA Electric & Technologies, a Lead Software Engineer for Robodub Inc., an Undergraduate Researcher for the UW Biorobotics Lab, and a Software Development Engineer Intern and Software Engineer for Auterion and Auterion GS, respectively. At Robodub Inc., they were a full-stack robotics software developer, working with Python, ROS, Arduino, C++, and Bash. At the UW Biorobotics Lab, they developed a novel method for describing torque signals of joint motors, a near-frictionless joint actuator for energy-optimized robots, and a program in Python that will run a physics model of and animate a passive-dynamic biped walker. At Kernel Labs, they started and finished a full-stack animatronic robotics project, developing aesthetics and mechanics of a to-scale human head with neck and mouth actuation, electronics and control software for the head’s actuators, algorithms that produce continuous, two-dimensional mouth shapes based on real-time frequency analysis of a voice, interactivity, and a website.

Jordan Coult has a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Washington, which they obtained between 2016 and 2018. Prior to that, they obtained an Associate of Science from Bellevue College between 2014 and 2016. In addition, they hold a Black Belt Certification from http://www.baileystraditionaltkd.com/ obtained in January 2016 and a Part 107 - Commercial sUAS Pilot Certification from the Federal Aviation Administration obtained in July 2019.
