Matej Frančeškin has been working in the software engineering industry since 1997. Matej began their career at Iskra Sysen as a Software Engineer, then moved to Ensico in 1998 as a Software Engineer, where they worked on cross platform development of Real-Time data acquisition software and iFix OPC (OLE for process control) drivers. In 2001, they joined Hermes Softlab as a Senior Software Engineer. In 2010, they began working at ComTrade Group as a Senior Software Engineer, where they were responsible for porting Ångström Linux for ARM cortex A8 (AM335x), kernel & u-boot support for I2C, SPI, DDR3, USB, serial ports, CAN bus, network, sound, framebuffer, capacitive & resistive touch screen drivers, porting Java virtual machine, X windows, XFCE. In 2014, they joined C-Astral as a Senior Software Engineer, and in 2018 they began working at Auterion as a Software Systems Engineer.

Matej Frančeškin studied Computer Science and Informatics at the University of Ljubljana from 1991 to 1997. Matej also attended Gimnazija Nova Gorica. No additional certifications have been listed.
