Peter Chmela

Peter Chmela has a diverse work experience in the field of graphic design. Peter is the Founding Partner of Chmela studio, a small graphic design studio that focuses on creating strong, memorable designs that evoke emotions. Peter has been in this role since August 2014.

Additionally, Peter has worked as a Brand Designer at Auterion since February 2022. Prior to that, they served as a Graphic Designer at SurveyMonkey from June 2020 to November 2021.

Peter also has experience as a Brand Designer at Upwork from June 2016 to March 2020.

Furthermore, they worked as a Teaching Assistant at Høgskulen i Volda / Volda University College from January 2012 to January 2020.

Peter gained valuable experience through internships at Sagmeister & Walsh in June 2012 and R2 design from September 2010 to January 2011.

Peter Chmela began their education in 2004 at Slovenská technická univerzita v Bratislave, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Industrial and Product Design. Peter completed this degree in 2008. Afterward, from 2008 to 2011, Peter attended Tomas Bata University in Zlín, where they obtained a Master's degree in Graphic Design. In 2010 to 2011, they participated in the Erasmus program at Akademia Sztuk Pięknych im. Jana Matejki w Krakowie, focusing on Graphic Design.
