Samuel Grant

Samuel Grant has over 15 years of experience in software engineering and development. Samuel is currently working as a Manager of Software Applications Engineering at Auterion, starting in April 2021. Prior to that, they worked at BeenThereSailedThat.com/WxBox.us as a Co-Owner since 2014. At COLSA and Odyssey Systems, they held positions as a Senior Software Engineer responsible for full-stack development of web-based simulation control suites, using Python, Apache, and RHEL7. At ARMA Global Corporation, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer from July 2017 to January 2020. Samuel also has experience as a Web Developer and Software Engineer at CACI International Inc and VATC Inc, where they built and maintained web architectures for data mining geospatial data. Samuel Grant also worked as a Software Engineer and Visual Database Engineer at Nova Technologies, where they developed visual databases for flight simulation and maintained software tools for visual database development. Samuel started their career as a Software Engineer IV at Nova Technologies, working on the Advanced Avionics Simulation AN/ALE-47 program.

Samuel Grant obtained an Associate of Science (AS) degree in Graphic Design from Okaloosa-Walton Community College, where they attended from 1989 to 1991. Samuel then pursued a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Troy University and completed it from 1995 to 1999. In addition to their formal education, Samuel Grant obtained a certification in CompTIA Security+ from CompTIA in March 2017.
