Saravana Kumar is an experienced engineering leader currently serving as Head of Engineering at Authentic since November 2022, where the focus is on enabling partners to offer customized insurance products. Previously, Saravana worked at Amazon Web Services from September 2019 to October 2022, ascending through roles from Software Development Engineer II to Software Engineer. An internship at Samsung in 2019 involved the development of a platform for streaming user logs and tools for baseline model comparison. Saravana has also gained research experience as a Graduate Research Assistant at multiple institutions, including The Ohio State University, and has published work on algorithms and privacy detection in reputable conferences. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Computer Science from The Ohio State University and a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science from the College of Engineering, Guindy.
