Guy Sagy has more than 20 years of experience in software development, starting as a Software Developer at Elron Software in 1997. Guy worked as a Senior Software Developer at United Online from 2000 to 2007, developing desktop applications with C++, Win32, MFC, ATL, and WTL. From 2007 to 2010, they were a Senior Software Developer at Oracle Corporation, where they worked on an online conferencing application using C++, Win32, MFC, Objective-C, and Cocoa. Guy then moved to Cisco WebEx from 2010 to 2012 as a Senior Client Software Developer, where they developed the WebEx Conferencing suite of applications for Windows and Mac OS. In 2012, they became a Senior Software Engineer at DC Systems, where they developed Smart Grid software for utilities and grid operators with C++, MFC, C#, Windows Forms, .Net, and Microsoft SQL. From 2013 to 2017, they worked as a Principal Software Engineer at Symantec, developing a web portal for SSL certificate orders' processing and delivery with C++, Java/Spring, and AngularJS. In 2017, they joined Edmodo as a Software Engineer III and performed continuous development of Edmodo's web-application's front-end using JavaScript, HTML, CSS, React, Redux, and Backbone. From 2018 to 2021, they were a Software Engineer 4 - Full Stack at Asurion, where they designed and developed e-commerce/web-portal products with JavaScript, React, Redux, Node.js, Express, and MongoDB. From 2021 to the present, they have been working as a Senior Software Engineer, Media at Udemy, where they developed the VOD delivery and playback pipeline using FFmpeg, AWS Cloud development with Boto3 for S3, MediaPackage & CloudFront, and rendering/playback of a customized video player on any device and client using JavaScript and React. Finally, they will be joining Authentic8 in 2023 as a Web Developer.

Guy Sagy's education history includes a Bachelor of Science degree in Aeronautics/Aviation/Aerospace Science and Technology, General from Technion - Israel Institute of Technology (1986-1991) and a Master of Business Administration degree in Finance-Accounting / Management Information Systems from Tel-Aviv University, Israel (1992-1997).
