Jeff Phillips has over 25 years of experience in the technology industry. Jeff began their career in 1992 as an Analyst at WilTel. In 1993, they became a Product Manager at LCI, where they were responsible for product strategy and tactics, defining price structures, rates, and promotions, developing customer presentations and training tools, field support, and crafting the segments' marketing communications messages. In 1997, they moved to TeleChoice as the Director of Product Marketing Consulting, providing market entry strategy, go-to-market planning, and product definition services to startup and established software and hardware vendors, as well as Internet and service provider companies. In 2003, they became the Vice President of Marketing at Virtela, where they led product marketing, product management, marketing communications and messaging, demand generation, and field marketing/sales enablement. Revenue for the company grew from $35M to $100M in four years. In 2007, they joined Microsoft Mediaroom as the Director of Product Marketing, providing product leadership from business opportunity definition and strategy to feature development to product marketing to customer engagement for video delivery to Xbox, smart TVs, PCs, tablets, and mobile phones. In 2013, they became the Head of Product Commercialization at Ericsson, where they built and led a team responsible for new product introduction, packaging, pricing, licensing, and commercial operations for Ericsson's SaaS and packaged software TV platform offerings. In 2019, they were selected by the COO to partner with the VP of R&D to build the TV Platforms development unit within MediaKind as the Head of Business Operations. Jeff was instrumental in orchestrating a multi-year spend and workforce rightsizing effort inclusive of development outsourcing and an India center ramp up. In 2020, they joined Authentic8 as the Director of Product Marketing, enabling anyone, anywhere, on any device to experience the web without risk.
