Jim Gilbert

Jim Gilbert has extensive experience in data protection, engineering, and product development, with a career spanning over two decades in the technology and biometrics sectors. Currently serving as Data Protection Officer at AuthenticID since November 2018, Jim develops and implements privacy governance frameworks to ensure compliance with GDPR and various privacy regulations. Previously, as Senior Vice President of Engineering at AuthenticID, Jim established U.S.-based development teams and handled vendor management to meet customer InfoSec requirements. Past roles include VP of Networking Solutions at Red Lion Controls, Director of AFIS Product Development & Engineering at NEC Corporation of America, and various senior management positions at Cross Match Technologies and Identix, focusing on biometric product management and software development. Jim holds a B.S. in Computer Science from Iowa State University.
