Josh Peel has four years of work experience. In 2019, they began working as a Software Engineer for AuthenticID and as a Data Warehouse Intern for The SSI Group, LLC. In their role as a Data Warehouse Intern, Josh made requested changes to in-house database monitoring, reporting, and editing software written in C#, created a "Meta" Data Warehouse to gather stats and information on the core Data Warehouse using SQL and ETL processes, and created a CRUD web-app in ASP. In 2018, they worked as a Software Engineer Intern at Red Lion Controls. In this role, Josh worked as part of the SQA team automating firmware functionality tests for the NT24k Series network switches using Selenium, AutoIt3, and Tcl scripts. Josh also created multiple time saving features for the test execution and reporting software, and worked in conjunction with the Development Team to create time saving tools such as custom WireShark dissectors in Lua, automated building and testing using Maven, and conducted traffic/packet volume testing using Spirent. Finally, in 2016, Josh worked as a Desktop Support L2 Intern at the University of South Alabama Children's and Women's Hospital. In this role, they simplified the deployment process of 300+ Surface Pro tablets by writing VB Scripts, scripted installations and configuration changes with Dell Kace/VBS, and updated, merged, and optimized scripts.

Josh Peel attended Daphne High School from 2010 to 2014. Josh then went on to pursue a Bachelor of Computer Science from the University of South Alabama, which they completed in 2019.
