Parvez Alam has over 25 years of experience in the technology industry. Parvez began their career in 1996 as an Application Engineer at Newgen Software, where they provided pre-sales support for Imageware product by doing pre-sales meeting and product demonstration, conducted training of Imageware software, and generated surface models from scan data and creating Finite Element Models. In 1998, they moved to 3D Solutions Inc as an Applications Engineer, where they planned and scheduled various Reverse Engineering and Class A surfacing projects. In 2002, they joined Three S Solutions Ltd as a Project Manager. In 2003, they became a Senior Engineer at ETCS INC., where they were responsible for planning and scheduling various CAD/CAM projects on multi CAD/CAM platform and coordinating with customers, understanding the project requirements. In 2006, they moved to Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence as a Senior Application Engineer, where they were responsible for technical win in sales cycle by assessing customer needs, conducting custom product demonstration and answering technical questions, and performing customer product demonstrations and supporting targeted sales opportunities. In 2010, they founded Dimensional Applications Inc, a high-tech company that provides a state-of-art, portable 3D white light scanning software, hardware, and iOS/Android Applications. In this role, they developed an affordable 3D White Light Scanner so that 3D scanning technology can be implemented to the larger industry, and identified and collaborated the third-party software which can be bundled with their product to offer the complete solution. In 2018, they joined Metronor as a Sales Engineer, and in 2022, they moved to AuthenticID as a Sales Engineer.

Parvez Alam obtained a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Jamia Millia Islamia, followed by a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from the same institution.
