Chayla Young

Chayla Young has a diverse work experience. In 2018, they worked as a Program Coordinator at Boys & Girls Clubs of America, where they planned and led special programs and events for campers. Chayla also created and led staff teambuilding initiatives and competitions. From 2018 to 2019, Chayla worked as a Housing Consultant at The Scion Group. Their responsibilities included serving as a point of contact for inquiries from prospective residents, developing and maintaining relationships with students and parents, and engaging with prospective residents on social media. In 2019, they joined Damar Services, Inc. as an ABA Therapist. Their role involved collecting and tracking data, implementing behavior intervention plans for clients with Autism Spectrum Disorder, and ensuring HIPAA compliance. Chayla also completed a training program to obtain certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board. From 2020 to 2022, Chayla served as the Eureka! Program Coordinator at Girls Inc. of Greater Indianapolis. Chayla strategized, developed, and facilitated impactful STEM programs and events for youth, and also created promotional videos and content. During the same period, Chayla worked as a Social Media Strategist for The Trumor Room Podcast, where they developed dynamic social media content and grew the TikTok followership by 40%. Currently, Chayla is an Associate Practice Manager at Authenticx, starting in 2023.

Chayla Young obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Applied Health Science from Indiana University Bloomington, where they attended from 2015 to 2019. In April 2016, they also obtained a certification in Sharepoint Revenue Processing from Indiana University Bloomington. Following their undergraduate studies, Chayla pursued further education at the Maryland Institute College of Art, where they obtained a Master of Professional Studies (M.P.S.) degree in User Experience Design from 2023 to 2024. In November 2019, they obtained the Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB). Additionally, Chayla gained certification in CPR/AED/First Aid from the American Red Cross in June 2021.
