Alan Gant

Alan Gant has extensive work experience in various engineering and leadership positions. Alan is currently the Director of Software Engineering at Authentix, where they lead the development of software products for authentication and brand protection solutions. Prior to this, they worked as a Product Development Team Consultant at Credant Technologies, where they managed candidate selection and staff growth for a major new initiative. Alan also served as the Vice President of Engineering at WatchGuard Video, where they directed product development and grew the R&D team. Additionally, they held the position of Director of Engineering at Paragon Innovations and Vice President of Development at ChipData, Inc. Alan began their career as a Sr. Manager of R&D at Hewlett Packard and held various engineering and leadership positions at Convex Computer. Alan started their career as a Sr. Computer Architect at Mostek.

Alan Gant has a Ph.D. in Computer Architecture and Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Alan also has a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin. Additionally, Alan Gant holds an M.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
