Chenxi Zhang

Chenxi Zhang is an experienced Principal Development Chemist at Authentix since June 2025, with a strong background in R&D and chemical sciences. Previously, Chenxi served as R&D Technical Director at NINGBO EXCARE PHARM INC. and held various roles at Ingevity, including Senior/Lead Research Scientist in Performance Materials, where contributions included developing activated carbon coatings and optimizing production processes. Earlier experience includes Research Scientist at CTI - Chromatic Technologies, Inc., and a Post-doc Research Associate at Oak Ridge National Laboratory focusing on ligand compounds. Chenxi earned a PhD in Organic Chemistry/Materials Chemistry from the University of Colorado Boulder and an MBA from The Citadel, along with a BS in Chemistry from Peking University.
