Matthew Miller has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Matthew began their career as a Research Assistant at Texas Tech University from October 2001 to March 2005. Matthew then joined the United States Marine Corps as a TOW Armory NCOIC from April 2005 to January 2010. Returning to Texas Tech University, Matthew worked as a Research Assistant from June 2010 to August 2014, and later became a Laboratory Manager from August 2014 to August 2016. Matthew then transitioned to the private sector and worked as a Staff Analytical Chemist at Authentix from August 2016 to May 2017. Matthew's most recent role is Senior Solutions Engineer at Authentix, where they have been since May 2017.

Matthew Miller earned a Bachelor's Degree in Microbiology from Texas Tech University, where they studied from 2001 to 2011. Matthew later pursued a Master's Degree in Multi/Interdisciplinary Studies at the same institution, completing their studies from 2011 to 2014. In addition to their formal education, Matthew obtained certifications in Python for Non-Programmers from LinkedIn in March 2023 and in Analyzing and Visualizing Data with Microsoft Power BI from edX in September 2019.
