Ruifeng Yang

Ruifeng Yang has over 10 years of experience in electronic and optical device design, prototyping, and manufacturing, with a strong background in electronics, optics, and semiconductor physics. They have held various roles, including Nanofabrication Scientist at Nanotech and Principal R&D Engineer at CUMEC, where they focused on piezoelectric sensor arrays. Ruifeng has also contributed as a postdoctoral fellow and teaching assistant at the University of Waterloo, specializing in III-V photonics devices and thin-film solar modules. They earned a Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering/Nanotechnology from the University of Waterloo in 2016, showcasing a solid foundation for their extensive R&D and project management skills.
