Otso Nuortimo

Otso Nuortimo is a Senior Java Software Engineer at Authlete since December 2022, with previous experience as a Software Developer at Nulab, where responsibilities included developing a chat application and rewriting a Scala/Play backend to improve API usability. Prior to Nulab, Otso served as a Software Developer at Fluent Progress, contributing to backend and API development for a Java/Kotlin Spring Boot application focused on construction site management, also managing CI/CD pipelines and creating microservices. Earlier roles included increasing usability of customer websites at Ambientia and implementing a legacy project at Fluent Progress. Otso began the software development career as a Programmer at Joensuu Science Park Ltd, working on virtual reality projects. Otso holds a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from Karelia University of Applied Sciences, completed in 2016.
