Gene Meyer

Gene Meyer has been working in the journalism industry since 2004. Gene was the Writer-in-Chief at WordWorks from 2004 to 2009, and a Contributing Editor at Bethesda Magazine from 2005 to 2009. Gene was also a Contributor at The New York Times from 2007 to 2010, a Contributor at Youth Today from 2007 to 2013, a Contributor at Capitol File from 2013 to present, and a Contributor at U.S. News & World Report from 2010 to present. Additionally, they were a Member of the American Society of Journalists and Authors from 2006 to present, a Board Member of the Freedom to Write Fund/Washington Independent Review of Books from 2006 to present, and a Contributor at Maryland Life from 2006 to present, where they won two Gold and one Bronze awards from the International Regional Magazine Association for their work. Gene was also the Editor of B'nai B'rith Magazine from 2009 to present.

Gene Meyer attended Roslyn High School from 1956 to 1960. Gene then attended Columbia College (Columbia University in the City of New York) from 1960 to 1964, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in American History (United States).
