André Keane

Co-founder & CTO at Autility

André Keane has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Their most recent role is as the CTO and Co-founder of Autility, a position they have held since January 2020. Before that, they worked as an Advisor in Business Development at aPOINT-AS from November 2017 to December 2019.

Prior to their role at aPOINT-AS, Keane worked at ULSTEIN as a Business Analyst from September 2014 to October 2017. In this role, they were responsible for analytics and strategy development across various business areas, such as shipping, shipbuilding, ship design, and power and control systems. André also managed innovation and research projects and contributed to major innovation and digitization initiatives.

Before ULSTEIN, Keane worked as a Product Developer/Research Analyst at Initial Force AS from September 2012 to June 2014. André also gained experience as an IT-Support at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) from August 2010 to June 2014.

Keane's earlier experiences include a summer internship at ULSTEIN in 2013, where they gained first-hand industry exposure. André also served as a leader in Lørdagskomiteen at Studentersamfundet i Trondhjem from September 2011 to February 2013.

Additionally, Keane worked as a summer intern at MARINTEK in 2012, and as a Coordinator at Maritim21 from January 2011 to January 2012. In the latter role, they led a group of students in working on innovation and business development projects for the maritime industry in Norway, as part of the national research and innovation strategy developed by the Ministry of Trade and Industry.

Lastly, Keane served as a Personnel Administrator on the Ticketing Board at UKA from October 2010 to November 2011.

Throughout their career, Keane has demonstrated expertise in business development, project management, innovation, and strategy development across various industries.

André Keane completed their education in a Masters of Science degree at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) from 2009 to 2014, specializing in Marine Technology. Prior to that, they pursued another Masters of Science degree in Communications Technology at NTNU from 2007 to 2009. Their undergraduate studies involved a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering at Florida State University spanning from 2006 to 2007.
